2019 Rapid City Construction – Rapid City Reservoir

Due to the work that will be taking place on the Rapid City Reservoir starting as soon as possible, we would like to inform you of some of the changes that will be taking place.

PLEASE NOTE that all streets to the West of #270 (5th Street) will be local traffic only.

We would like to keep them clear for the construction trucks that will be using 3rd Avenue and 7th Street to get to the dump site.

The Rolling River School Division Buses will be going west on 4th Avenue and then south on 6th Street. Check with the School to see where they want parents to pick up their children.

Rink Parking – please use 4th Avenue and go into the Rink parking lot on the east side of the Rink Building.

PLEASE KEEP AWAY FROM THE CONSTRUCTION AREA.

The walkway at the dam will be blocked off at some point during Construction.

The R. M. of Oakview has granted permission for Russell-Redi Mix to operate construction equipment 24/7 to complete the reservoir restoration project as quickly as possible.
